Who we are
We are the Broady’s, and God has called us into the work of church planting. Justin and Cherish are both self-professed broken people who have been saved by radical grace and live to tell their redemptive story of Jesus Christ working in and through our lives. The Broady’s believe God has a redemptive story to tell for an entire community in Loveland, and that’s why they are here. They are wired and gifted for gathering people from a variety of backgrounds and relating the Gospel to people in the everyday messiness of life. It’s their vision for Coldwater Church to become a resting place for the weary. Justin is an ordained Pastor with a Master’s Degree in Theology and formal church planting training at The Village Church, and the Broadys have previous experience planting a church in Superior, Colorado. This new chapter in South Loveland is a walk of faith, so the Broadys are very eager to see what God will do and who will be a part. Although the end goal is to start a new church, the starting point is hosting a local Bible study. Read more about the Bible Study below, and contact us for any questions. We welcome any and all visitors.
What is our Bible Study like?
Real (Romans 12:9). We keep it real because life is real and God is real. We are authentic people enjoying dinner together, opening the Bible to learn more about God, & admittedly struggling through the low moments of life while also celebrating the high moments with one another.
Restful (Matthew 11:28). We are “on” all week long - work, kids, sports, house, school, etc. - it’s a lot. It’s exhausting. We don’t want you to have to “turn on” any more than you already do. So, don’t worry about dressing up, don’t worry about putting yourself together, just come and rest.
Relatable (1 Cor. 9:22). We are all going through something right now. Nobody is going through life and just “crushing it” in every category. And the Bible is incredibly relevant and relatable to all of us in all stages and seasons who need the grace, beauty, and goodness found in the Gospel.
Redemptive (Psalm 107:2). We are imperfect people carrying around a perfect Gospel in Jesus Christ. Because of that, we aren’t looking into a mirror and celebrating how great we are, but pointing at Jesus, celebrating how great He is. He makes broken things become beautiful, and we love to tell those types of stories.
